It was still the best attempt at a 3D metroid we ever got.I can't really think of any other games where /v/ hated them but they were actually good. Usually it's the inverse, which is why you get threads about garbage like Disco Elysium, Undertale, or Fallout New Vegas. Oh, Hollow Knight was a good one for a while, but it seems like people have started hating that finally.
