I always got all of the summons and maybe half of the weapons with damage break. I did try the mini-games to unlock damage break for all of them, but found it such a pain in the ass and couldn't do it. I always did most of the arena and leveled up a decent amount because I don't remember the Final Bosses ever being difficult in any playthrough. One of these days I should fight Jecht at the intended party strength. I don't think I beat Ultima Weapon, but I did pretty much everything else at the arena. No dark aeons in my version. Out of all Final Fantasy's, X is one of the few that I meaningfully either attempted or completed side-end-game. I do agree that the end-game stuff shouldn't be skipped and adds a ton to the game. The only other FF that I've meaningfully tried the end-game content which also had a decent amount is FFIV Complete Collection (I think I actually did everything in that one because it wasn't too hard). I've been in a more completionist mindset lately so if I felt like playing FFX again maybe I'd finally do it all.
