>>720103758This is part of it. The big problem is that while Cyberpunk2077 was EVENTUALLY "good", there are so many places it could have been much better and we should have gotten more. Hell, we don't even have the kind of mod support that a Bethesda game would have, or Bioware (especially Mass Effect LE ) that could fix some of the issues. Its frustrating to see how close it came but they pissed away some opportunities, things felt rushed, and they wasted a whole fucking expansion because they had to fix the garbage PS4 release (or consoles in general). It wouldn't have been a guarantee but had they released it intended for PC exclusively, then pare down graphics and whatnot if possible and have it run on PS5/XBSX, we would have at least had 2 expansions and probably a more comprehensive game in other ways.

Like it feels like you go from being a nobody to in deep shit as king death of murder mountain too quickly. Not to mention there is this sense of false urgency that brings things down. Like it feels off that we’re supposedly dying yet can still do so much shit and only feel the effects when the story wants to kick in. Not to mention V has some issues. One he shouldn’t have a name, the initial would have been fine if it was a nickname thing but Phantom Liberty revealed it was just the first initial of his name. Also him being voiced takes some RP potential away. It’s the Fallout 4 conundrum. But CDPR knew it was a good idea to let the player at least pick a backstory. In my opinion the game should have just been about you riding up to the top without any bullshit. And if they needed to add Johnny they should of made it just be an something that starts as being bad but after you get to know him and he agrees to work with you it becomes an edge, instead of the cyber-tumor body snatcher shit we got. I mean it feels more like Johnny’s story that V’s by the end.
