Rasing the tempo will introduce artifacts if they're trying to maintain the pitch and the song will sound a bit off if they're just raising the pitch and they're trying to match the key. The drums are a 4-on-the-floor pattern anyways so it could have been a generic tech house track if it was a bit faster.
