Why do modern gamers cry and look up guides and mods when they encounter the tiniest bit of challenge?

There's really no reason so much shit should be do 2 mask damage or more. Just save it for the boss rush DLC.

They're the kind of person who use save states in retro games. When does the game gets hard, though? I'm 7 hours in, and the hardest thing so far was the flybeast.

Moorwing, bird room, Last Judge.

Genuine question, is there ANY level of difficulty where you would say "ok now this is too hard" ?
Like if getting hit once always killed you, would that be too hard?
If they remove 90% of the benches and 10x all store prices, would that be too hard?
If dying deleted your savefile, would that be too hard?
If your answer is NO, then your an idiot whose opinion can be completely dismissed
and if your answer is YES, then we agree games can be too hard and we're just haggling over where the limit is, which is a subjective preference
