I took both stages of the Implant GRX perk which stacks with fast times and chemist, so I get like 80 seconds of turbo time which is enough time to sneak walk my way up to the point where you have to jump upwards onto a different platform. All you have to do is drop the gold, jump, grab the gold before it falls through the crack, and then continue onwards. It's about at that point that Elijah realizes he's been tricked, so that's when the real timer starts.

OWB is fucking annoying, the dialogue is cringe, the areas and challenges suck, the enemies suck, the super awesome house needs like 4 loading screens to access and gets btfo by even the shittiest POH mod. Ulysses is a joke compared to other characters like Ceasar and Graham and doesn't live up to the hype at all, the whole ED-E subplot had zero emotional impact on me, and the gameplay while linear is at least pretty fun to clear through.

The New Vegas DLCs, and by extension most 3/4 DLCs are simply badly designed. They don't fit into the main game design. They are isolated experinces that force you stay inside of it until you finish it. It hqs no bearing on the rest of the main game. And in the case of DM, it even strips the RPG aspects from the game as you are forced to reset your progress via losing your gear.

All 3 games are best enjoyed by ignoring the DLC and just playing the base game. TES DLC is far better integrated and it's not even close.

Once you get jury rig money instantly becomes trivial in this game anyway. The gold just lets you take max vendors caps which you can easily do with a few perfect condition heavy weapons and SMGs.
The only thing you really need caps for in this game are the implants and the expensive healing implant is really only useful specifically in this DLC.
Pretty sure most people just leave the bars sitting around their house since they're a unique item.

Dobbs is the only one who was corrupted from what I read, everyone else seemed fine, and I think the Howard and Curtin could have just gone back to get the gold themselves and had a perfectly amicable relationship whilst they worked together then split it 50/50, and I believe they would have done that based on how they treat Cody's death: agreeing to give money to his widow, despite him being just some guy who turned up and WANTED to join, but didn't actually do anything to help get the gold before he was shot and killed by a group of thieves

if the message of the movie was meant ot be "gold corrupts" then I don't agree, the real message seems to be "some people are just cunts!", and my courier in F:NV didn;t fall into that category based on the choices I made throughout the game
