If it wasnt for the slow boring as shit prologue it would basically be the perfect MGS. Replaying it reminded me what a fun rollercoaster ride 3s story is. The rest of the game's pacing is very good with plenty of gameplay

But unfortunately they're dry as fuck and the moment you put one in your mouth they'll crumble and break into dry protein powder. I think they're fine if you need a bite between meals, but you absolutely need to have something to drink to help flush that shit down your system, or this will 100% ruin your day.

If I'm going to skip pretty much all the story/codec, is it still fun?I played MGS3 for the story years ago and while the gameplay wasn't 'bad', it was very linear to me in terms of gameplay even if it has more of it. It felt an awful like MGS2 but most areas were basically big segments broken into little segments so even if you were in a big area, the guards didn't really interact muchI also fucking hate the caves and any sections with just blatant running around like a retard for 5+ minutes on end
