That is a rather bad take on how to make the first Hollow Knight challenging, game that wasn't even difficult in the first place.

I was thinking the same when starting out after just finishing hollow knight. However, unlocking the dash ability followed by the lace fight changed by mind. It's actually pretty entertaining but I've heard there's some pretty frustrating fights w/ bosses that spam ads so I'll have to wait and see.

Nah, I think it's about as mediocre as the first game. Some improvements but some very poor bad designs. The thing I'm tired of is the active glazing for the game. You can't really learn anything from Silksong to make your game a success other than possibly meme marketing. The only thing you can learn from Silksong is just never give up and make the game you want if it isn't out there.
