The game has completely abandoned and pretense of being a historical simulation and instead became an incest-haha-funny-fart-event sandbox.Ask again in 3 years, when the fantasy mods are updated. Maybe they are worth installing this piece of shit game. But in 2 months EU5 is coming out, so it doesn't even matter. It will probably have much more interesting fantasy mods by then, not to mention a better base game.

Like you could actually simulate a fantasy kingdom, where outlying areas have very little control and need "Adventurer" POPs to prevent bad events. If there are not enough Adventurer POPs and it's low control and has not a certain fort level, then you get automatic immigration of monster races like Orcs, Goblins or even Undead. They will then start causing bad events, which kill your population. If neglect continues to happen, they can even spawn as revolts or just create a new dynamic Monster Horde tag, which either joins another Orc Clan or founds a new one.This is completely impossible to dynamically simulate in EU4, but it's only a matter of creativity and workhours in EU5, because it actually simulates POPs and an economy. I am excited for EU5!
