The vast majority of them are completely unremarkable and only a few of them are actually good. There isn't enough interesting lore for me to comb through every fucking inch of them more than once. There is basically no lore, it's literally just 'um dude in castle is evil' rehash. I can't even remember 90% of NPCs names or where they are, and there's only been like 3-4 really good interactions despite meeting fifty fucking people.Pic related is smaller than half the zones in SS but is significantly more full of loot, interesting shit, and generally just a much cooler place to be.

The size of the world is cool but I don't like how spread out the upgrades are. I've only found 6 mask shards after exploring every area up to the Grand Gate. The charms so far are lame, poison and the last hit protection are the only really good ones, I haven't found a single yellow charm worth replacing the compass and bead magnet. I don't like how there's no synergy between the charms either from the ones I've found. I also don't like the rug pull sections where you get sent to jail or get sent to the sewers right after reaching the Grand Gate.All that bitching aside, it's fun. I don't think it's better than HK so far though.

The only danger in her fight is if you let her box you in with the vines. As long as you stay calm, don't panic dash, and burn down the vines as soon as they show up you should have no issues. And the world of hollow Knight is a lot better. Here its fire zone, grass zone, castle zone, aids zone, cancer zone. They duplicated each of these. Each section actually feels fairly small as well because it's so linear. In hollow knight from what I recall there was much cooler zones to explore.
