Nothing about the game is "challenging" in any real sense. It's pretty much the definition of artificial difficulty; at best it's just pure annoyance. Enemies stay as far away as possible. Bosses fill up 90% of the screen with utter bullshit that you have to dodge while dodging their moves and also dodging any adds + their moves. Run backs are boring and not interesting. Enemies themselves aren't actually that hard, you're just very limited to having a small HP bar (even if you upgrade it); using the "take more damage, deal more damage" is a trap because you actually don't deal that much more damage regardless but take DOUBLE damage.It's just aggravating to play. I don't think "wow that was a fun challenge" I roll my eyes having to do a boring runback and then die to bullshit moves. No sigh of relief when I win, just "finally this shit is over".

They are fucking annoying. It wouldn't be an issue at all but unless you have the right tool equipped/saving them for the boss, all you can do is bait their attack and try get some hits in. Its very tedious doing this.
Just had to spend 10 minutes farming rosaries so I could buy shards so I can attempt Unravelled again. I swear 9/10 bosses in this game have flying adds and it makes the fights utterly unenjoyable.
Speaking of Blasphemous comparisons, Silksong's OST is very subpar for a game with a central theme revolving around sound and music.

The rooms to the left have 5 enemies reallu close by, and since cogfly hp resets whenever you move between rooms, you can use one swarm of 4 to kill the enemies any amount of times. Man its so funny seeing so many complaints about the flying enemies or the double damage of enemies in general because this is exactly what i wanted and couldnt be happier.I like metroidvanias, but 99% of the times the enemies are essentially filler content, like they look cool and add atmosphere but are empty gameplay wise. Super Metroid has no enemy outside of those 2 space pirates who can pose something even close of a threat, all the igavanias as well, with the exception of those arenas like in CotM and similar ones, you will never die to an enemy otherwise. HK suffered from the same issue, outside of this one section of the coliseum i had zero chance of dying to most enemies, they are there to look pretty at best.I wont say its the first ever, but SS is the first time for me where a metroidvania enemy roster feels like actual enemies instead of moving setpieces.
