We talk a lot about vidya redflags, but what are some greenflags? What are some little things that make you feel like youre about to experience kino?
>game options are extremely in depth allowing you to customize and change damn near everything imaginable, down to individual decimal points for stuff like fov and mouse sensitivity, along with detailed descriptions of what every setting does
>>720253445game has a complex character creation system with a lot of customization that actually effects game mechanics and isn't just vanity. Huge green flag for crpgs
>>720253445>greenflagsdoesn't exist, only red flags.everything is either shit, or passable.
>>720253445choose your body type>male>female
>>720253574for me there are certain flags that automatically make a game unforgivable to me, and if it lacks any of those, then it has the chance to be truly good - I rarely actually dislike any games that don't do these egregious things like microtransactions or TAA
>>720253539>Green flag thread>Writes a red flag.No menus whatsoever, bare minimum of needed for gameplay, fuck even graphic settings, if it ain't avarage 3A slopa than I trust the vision of how the game should look. >The description of every settingThat's a 3A slop red flag if I ever saw one. First I ever noticed was literally COD.
>>720253906
>>720253445Seeing my characters legs. Bonus for food first person animations that don't break the first person
>>720253445>game has a fairly extensive modding sceneCompanies that go out of their way to clamp down on this deserved to be named and shamed.
>Game starts in a base full of allies and you can walk around watching them doing their day to day stuff before disaster strikesHalf LifeGunman ChroniclesDoom 3
>>720253445Bump
>>720253539This is always a red flag because you know it means the devs don't know what the fuck they're doing and just let players fuck with everything
>>720256795see>>720254006
>>720253445>Japanese game>Not part of a series>Looks budget>6-7/10 from reviewers
>>720253445Bit vague but I love it whenever games allow something. When you wonder if something will work, even if it probably would be against the "right" path, and the devs thought of that and made it an option as well. Stands out most for puzzle or exploration games.
