Getting familiar with your particular Uma's career options helps too. I saved the advice from that F2P Golshi god and i'll repost it in the future if people need it. I think people's biggest downfall is thinking that their deck somehow makes it impossible for them to grind up strong umas, when really their strategy is messed up, they might need to switch out a few of the cards they have for a different one (most of your decks aren't nearly as bad as you think) and they're also not trying long enough to get lucky.

They require a bit more prepwork than other classes to truly be optimal. If they lose the lead at any point they’re fucked essentially. Breaking through the pack abilities are mostly wasted on them, but there are some where they can gain boosts from other front runners. We’d need a front runner autist to break down all the best skills for them but generally speaking they’re very specifically tailored towards front runners. For career mode though that shouldnt matter too much so long as you get your speed really high and picking up focus/concentration to prevent you from fucking up due to late starts

So if you want to make debuffers, you can grab her, but you don't really need to "develop" her. If this Long Champ's Meet is anything to go by, McQueen is important to build up. Why? Because she gets more useful at 3LB (MLB is practically identical so don't need to go that far).Winning Ticket power card is not bad for certain things, and yet in general is considered "bad" because it forcibly steals your training energy in a few of its events. Energy is the end all be all in your career run, so any card that just straight up steals your energy (even if it's in exchange for stats) usually is seen as bad. But it has its uses.McQueen is the most useful to level up for her gold recovery ability in long races (very important). Rice Shower you can level up if you want but it's not as important. Winning Ticket (strength) is the least priority. Focus on McQueen.
