All the political BS aside, the game itself just isn't that good. The overall balancing of the game is really bad and so is the mission variety. I guess when you are rooted in a semi-realistic/authentic (I'm using these words pretty loosely here but still) setting it limits the variety of content you can have in the game pretty harshly but man, the missions and dialogue are the most mundane shit imaginable and it's boring as fuck. Basically the only new "mechanic" is the blacksmithing minigame but it's so fucking basic that you've basically exhausted all it has to offer after crafting one sword.
