Rajang, Malzeno, Fatalis, Alatreon, Rey Dau, Arkveld, Valstrax, Lunagaron, Zinogre, Vaal Hazak, Bazelgeuse, Astalos, Hermi/Ceanataur, Glavenus, Gore/Shagaru Magala and any of their variants are the best monsters I've fought in the MH games that I've playedThe rest has been middling or just straight up garbage fights.

I like most more grounded to reality monsters that arn't anime. Not in the sense of 'muh realism, rather they dont look like a toy.Fortunately a lot of monsters fit my criteria of being more concrete in design philosophy.

Recently finished re-playing through every MH only using the longsword, and then every MH (where it's available) with the insect glaive. I think I'll do hammer next, but CEMU with high FPS is glitching out the spin timing in 3U, you literally cannot golfswing out of a spin.
