Awakened hunter crest is actually pretty interesting because because you have to choose whether to use benches since your focus meter resets when you do but you get health obviously. It's an interesting choice. Reserve bind works well with the crest for this reason and you can probably throw weavelight and druids eye in there too.

I know this is a thread for the sequel but is Silksong's progression better than Hollow Knight's?I'm playing the first game and you basically need to traverse 2 areas to finally get the dash. That's like super slow and made combat a chore. Hornet wasn't a hard boss but having to fight her jumping around while I could only walk back and forth was a pain.Now I have to deal with a bunch of explosive mushrooms in a zone that requires a lot of vertical movement and most I can do is dash sideways since hitting them back causes them to blow up on my face.It feels like the placement of these upgrades is all over the place.

Fully finished the game without a guide. Shave off 15 hours or so of AFK. Better than the first game. The original feels like a cakewalk in comparison and the only reason the Pantheon of Hallownest is even challenging is due to taking 30+ minutes per try against all the bosses in the game in a row.The UI is the biggest issue in Silksong. You don't get prompted to select another tool when you unequip one. Instead you unequip it, then you have to navigate to a new tool. You also constantly have to tab left and right several times to get to the right menu. There's also no way to filter the enemies you haven't completed in the journal, and you can only cycle through them from top to bottom with the confirmation button. Use left and right and you instead switch tabs. They need to hire someone to do UX fo them for the next game.Also, the Passing of the Age ending confirms another sequel.

Can you awaken crests other than Hunter? I’ve been using Reaper and don’t want to switch back. Also, do yellow charms ever actually get any good? Bead magnet and thief’s mark are my go-to for exploration but those are a liability for any boss fight, so I’ve been switching to heavy belt and magnet dice for those, but they almost never make a difference at all. Yellow has easily got the biggest pile of “does nothing” charms I’ve ever seen.

Others are only finding out just how unpredictable it is and that it isn't something you can just summon and command. The Steel Soul tribe seems to know a lot about it though.
