Getting a case with more space than you need will help you build if it's your first time. A King 65. Originally wanted a 95 but the Pro model with included fans was out of stock where I am. For some reason Montech's the only one offering low-cost reverse blade 120s here while other brands cost an arm and a leg by comparison, so at least the brands all match. The standout is that it's a white case with black components. Don't know why techtubers rarely ever do such a thing when a mix of those colors is generally complimentary. Always pure white or pure black.
>>720432191>>720432220Yep and this is why solid black case with big front fans will be superior forever

Just from my testing back intake + top exhaust worked the best for me for good temps. Gamers Nexus had a good video testing the airflow on this but they used a blower style GPU so the testing wasnt quite as complete. If your GPU has intake fans then just let it do its job, dont stick more fans underneath it because it creates noise due to turbulence. If you get the mesh variety, you can also add side exhaust to expel hot air faster but you'll probably only drop temps by 1-2C or so. The case is ventilated from all other sides because of the mesh so you'll never really choke with heat even during extended gaming.back intake + top & side exhaust > back intake + top exhaust >And I do suggest getting the wood front version because it is mesh unlike the regular version which is non ventilated up front. This way you can have your PSU fan intake through the front and exhaust through the top.

>>720433465Case is the one component you can realistically keep around for years and years, so cheaping out might not be the wisest choice. I've built a computer in a 30€ case and it's doable, but I dread every time I have to open it for upgrades. Once it's closed it's okay, but cable managing in a cheap case can be a bitch. So do your research and decide if it's worth it to save a few bucks now and possibly cut your fingers in a few years.
>>720438827>>720438909you literally have one exhaust on the back of the PC. does that not strike you as a little short sighted and completely stupid? also, dont samefag.
>>720439094He said the aio exhausts too. Not only are you needlessly combative you cannot read, how sad.
Been eyeing up this case from Chieftec. Want that 5.25" drive bay and this looks a bit more advanced than my current case.
>>720439161The way it opens up looks pretty neat.
>>720439152whats sad is that you are samefagging when in reality, no one is defending you
>>720439094>dont samefag
>>720438865It's so hard to keep up with Corsair's confusing naming schemes. Because you could be mistaken that was one of their older shittier products in regards to 4000D but then they refresh them and are improved in some regards but keep the same names. That being said I would tell people to get the Antec Flux Pro for a case that is airflow king in full tower, fractal torrent airflow king for mid tower.
>>720439273inspect element is not rocket science...or maybe it is for someone like you, dipshit
Are dual chambers really that much better with airflow? Or is a meme?
>>720429629It's fun to look at the handle on your case and imagine that you could easily take it to a lan party though.
>>720439352Is it? I think having 2 fuck huge 140mm fans as an intake is a lot better since my gpu is like 30c ambient idle and the fan isn't even on. Love me Fractal cases.
>>720438483thanks
>>720439161>>720439204Looks cool but also like terrible airflow. I would say 150W max for GPU if you don't want your PC to double as an oven.
>>720439324Keep crying as much as you want bitch nigga, doesn't change the fact you fucked up and you're too much of a little bitch to let go
>>720429580>ultimate portabilityJust get a laptop.
>>720439510confession: im not >>720438540 i just started replying as him to make him look crazy and he never jumped back in to say anything

>>720439864Based niceposter
>>720439094What? First you complained that there will be negative pressure, now you're complaining about one exhaust on the back? I'm so confused right now.>>720439821Well... that explains it.
>>720439864Geeze I used to have one of those cases, I'm surprised you still held onto yours. They're not good for airflow anymore despite deceiving appearances. But they were good for SLI setups way back when.
why won't the swedish bitches who bought caselabs actually start making them againits been like 2 years
>>720434660>Rminder that a PC case belongs on the flooHave fun cleaning all of the cat hair out of your case.
I exclusively buy aluminium cases from the 2000sHere is my HTPC
>>720428438What case
>>720439503Yeah, I figure it's not a high-performance case in that regard. Still, two 140mm intake fans should be more than enough for my setup.
>>720438545>How much of a concern is cooling, cable management etc in today's environment?Depends on the environment your machine runs in and the load you expect it to be under, good airflow outside the machine in general at room temperature makes a surprising difference, but all you really need to do is get a decent liquid cooler and keep the fans and sink clean and unobstructed. You can buy little cans of pressurised air for pretty cheap when you need to do spot cleaning, but you can make 'em yourself. Thermal paste lasts ages now and is really easy to apply, all in all, cooling your machine down is easier than it was 30 years ago. It's worth noting that the size of your case and how many openings it has really plays into how well it can cool down, but even with small cases you can just open up one of the sides and that'll solve the problem even with shitty fans. Also cooling still matters with laptops. Dust builds up in those too.
>>720440150Cat looks fucking pissed
>>720429728is gud
>>720428741>gets mogged by chinese shit for a fraction of the pricelmao
For me it's Antec with free fans
The front panel is a pain to clean
>>720441192vacuum
There was this really cool case I wanted with capacity for over 10 HHDDs, dual motherboard setup and looked really sturdy, but I can't remember the name and it was almost out of production
>>720441213I usually just wash it as it gets the dust stuck between the panel and filter material behind it out, where the vaccum struggles.
>>720441213Oh lala, look at this rich fag! He has a vacuum cleaner!
>>720427980I have a Fractal Define 7 because I don't like windows and just want my PC to look like a box. I fell for the silent case meme so now in intensive games my fans (which I've had to upgrade to noctuas) have to run hard to keep it cool even with the front door open. When it's not hot it's a nice case.
>>720441430Nvm it was the Phanteks Enthoo pro 2
>>720441430meshify XL 2 can hold an ungodly amount of hard drivesincluding 4 of them down out of the way of everything (but still in the cooling path of the fans if you're using 140mm fans or a 420mm AIO) which is where i put mine
>>720427980I made the mistake of buying a cuck case(fractal design meshify c), the max gpu length you can fit without raping your thermals by removing the front fans is 315mm, with is absolutely fucking nothing. You're forced to buy smaller models which are always louder with worse worse thermals. Buy a full tower case and don't make the same mistake I did
>>720428741Get the NH-U12A instead. Nearly the same performance, especially if you buy two G2 120mm fans next to it.
>>720427980A Fractal Design North XL, picked a big one because I like to work on it myself and spare room isn't really all about luxury anymore with these huge GPU's. It's aesthetically very pleasing to me too. Fits my interior which has a lot of wood touches going on. Not a single RGB horseshit memery outside of fixed olive green lights on my keyboard. Air cooling (not stock) because water cooling effeciency isn't all that superior if you set up a good airflow in your case combined with custom curves. Don't try and convince me otherwise, I've tried both. Horizontal GPU. Ryzen 7 9800X3D - 4,7 GHz and RTX 4080 Runs like a champ.
>>720432713>horizontal caseI wish there were more horizontal cases.Maybe something that blended in with home theater gear. Imagine a case that went with a Marantz amplifier for example.
>>720434660What's with the Big Footed Box Shitter?
>>720441668>so now in intensive games my fans (which I've had to upgrade to noctuas) have to run hard to keep it cool even with the front door openIt shouldn't. My Define R6 gets great temps with Arctic P12's at low speeds after I took the front door off, works just as well as mesh cases. How is yours set up? I'm on 3 front fans as intake and 1 at the back as exhaust, top panel is sealed off to force a full front-to-back airflow and fresh intake air to pass through the components before exhausting off the back. It's all mine needs with a 5700x3D and a 4070ti.
>>720443078If it's worth anything, I'm trying >>720437475 , but the thread probably won't be up for long enough before I finish setting it up though.
