So i guess the Yoshi series is doomed to forever continue as a series for fucking toddlers even though literally noone cares for that style (Woolly World and Crafted World), the reception is always lukewarm, and Yoshi's Island arguably is the best 2D Mario game.

The guy's got an extendable, frog-like tongue that can stick to any creature and surface, can probably deliver 100 kicks to you in under five seconds, and is only second to Kirby in terms of having a blackhole for a stomach which is still terrifying. No reason why he can't get a Donkey Kong Bananza or Wario World-style adventure.
