I would use Linux if I didn't have to do rocket science to make everything work on it and also had a simple UI. Last time I used a Linux I was complete lost to find things like the Control Panel.

You also have to configure about a dozen options in Policy Editor to not have Windows send your browsing data to Microsoft, and on AMD cards, sometimes the generic Windows graphics driver will conflict with AMD Software and corrupt your installation. Really the only solution is to wipe your drivers, do an offline install, then get into Policy Editor to stop Windows from getting driver updates with Windows updates. You also have to get into Services.msc and turn off Connected User Experiences and Telemetry, which setting aside how spooky it is, is a complete resource hog that activates at the worst time.
