Hornet's movement in Silksong is nothing like the Knight's movement in Hollow Knight. It's like night and day. It's not just about it being an "improvement", or "worse" if that's your opinion for whatever the reason. It's fundamentally different from the first game. The amount of aerial control is nothing like the first game and the speed is on a whole other level. You might as well claim that Megaman Zero and Classic Megaman is just "the previous game but better". They're pretty fucking different.
