The first area has zero variety, I'm kinda using the same type of gun the whole time (torque sticky jets) and I don't care about any of the characters. It's good they toned down the memes but they just kinda replaced that with... nothing.Also made a mistake picking Vex. It's still the same Ubislop open world design of peppering the map with outposts I have to clear for fast travel spots, a bunch of collectibles to grab eventually, and some vault key parts to unlock mini-dungeons with presumably a boss that's more fun to fight than 90% of what I've done so far. Idolator Sol and the Vault Beast in the grasslands have been the only bosses I've liked so far.

>>720666267I get it if you want to stick with summons on Vex, but I've also been playing my run focusing on her Incarnate skill rather than any pets and been enjoying it. I dropped points focusing on mainly her kill skills and kinetic weapon boosts (because I love Jakobs guns) but did a 5 point dip into her red tree at level 16 to eventually get 5 points into Grave Sustenance before going back to green now to go into the branch with Trigger Finger and Vibe Check. With the 5 points in Grave Sustenance you can get some really good uptime on Incarnate as long as you have stuff to kill and eventually you can get the 5% chance to proc kill skills on critical hits to even upkeep Incarnate vs boss fights (fun fact, each pellet in a shotgun counts rolls that 5% chance on hit) but I get it if you want to still stick with summons, people seem to be saying that her reaper clones are good, so it's just sadly the cat that's just kinda ass.
