The Deck can't really be compared to the Switch 2. The Switch 2 gets games made for it, the Deck is running literally the same version you play in your $1000 PC. The Deck has sold less than 2m units, i think. I don't think it's sold on Walmart or anything, they just sell it from Steam. I wouldn't buy a handheld PC now, they are too much of a novelty and most of them are expensive as fuck for mid performance. If you are gonna buy a Rog Ally X or whatever, it's better to just buy a PC or a Switch 2. Most people will say: "huh, but with handheld pcs you can play all your Steam library". But, realistically, do you want to buy a brand new $900 machine to play games you bought in 2015? I know i don't, which is why i barely use my Steam Deck.

It's being launched in a third party living room Xbox with no disc drive or backwards compatibility, just the Xbox full-screen experience, Game Launchers, and Windows desktop for $1400 late next year. In 2027, they're going to launch another third party Xbox handheld using the Magnus APU as well, same as the home console. Starting with these, Microsoft will release third party devices increments, instead of waiting generations. These will all be expensive, very expensive. It's over.
