Is this the most compelling argument against Procgen trash? 50 updates in and it's still the most vapid, boring shit out there. Nothing you do matters and everything feels soulless because it was generated by an algorithm. No interesting characters, no interesting locations, just procgen slop.
>>720671141Why do you keep making the same thread anon? What do you hope to achieve? If you don't like the game thats fine, dont play it, but why are you so insistent that everyone else on /v/ knows that you dont want to play the game?
If someone tried using an impact driver to screw in computer screws, and ended up snapping the motherboard, would you consider that the most compelling argument against power tools?
>>720671245This is a recycle thread. There's already a thread up with this exact picture, so the hope is that once their done there then this can be the new thread where the bots and trolls reply to each other. Starfield threads aren't biting like they used to since the Starfield fans just fucked off from /v/ and are among themselves elsewhere likely enjoying the game and sharing pics with each others. NMS fans can do the same by not engaging with these threads and look at them for what they are: bots, trolls and shitters responding to each other with maybe 1 or 2 actual people who didn't get the memo that the thread they are in is a shitposting thread.
>>720671731>There's already a thread up with nearly this exact pictureFixed. Sorry.
>>720671245This is the first thread I've made about this shit game nigga.
Procgen isn't even the problem. Hell in some ways more procgen would be better, primarily in how they reuse the same 3 hostile plants on every planet in the galaxy which is utterly retarded and they should be procgenning those as well. But the big problem is that the gameplay is just mining mineral deposits and scanning for other buried shit to dig up and everything is built around that idiotic premise so no matter where you go you're just doing the same shit along with finding the same outposts with the same shitty maths puzzles in them and NPCs that never have anything to say. There are only a few types of structures to find on a planet and you're primarily guided to them via star charts rather than stumbling across them while wandering around. They need to rework the game's fundamentals because that's what's dragging the game down; give the player more ways to automate things without it being a massive pain in the ass, make trading actually viable as an alternative, make the combat not a retarded joke. And also make it so each planet has at least 50+ types of flora and fauna instead of the 10-20 they currently have so you actually have an incentive to stick around and explore one place for a while instead of hopping from planet to planet like they're cabinets at an arcade. And never mind the nonsense that every planet is only ever one biome only.
