Even if this was the plan all along, it's not good writing to go "well William actually stole all of the tech and the one who built everything was actually this guy who made trash games with googly eyes"

>>720683506As far as I gathered, Afton/Emily designed their endo technology, stole the designs other than Freddy/Bonnie (which are now implied to be from some older source, alongside the other main mascots), and wanted M2 to improve their endos. They didn't end up acquiring M2 until the Pizzaplex.
