Is this going to be streamlined in a good or bad way?I understand the game was a 100+ hour slogfest. Trimming the fat would be nice, but these days you never know. It could become a 20-hour easy linear casual game that completely erases what the game is supposed to be.
>>720679736from what i've read, they're gonna streamline it and make some of it optional.
>>720679736Most of /v/ will complain but it's probably just gonna be the same changes as on 3DS.And as a general reminder, 95% of the people who will respond to this thread have never actually played or finished DQVII.
I recently finished Final Fantasy 1 and am close to finishing FF2.While charming, they are archaic and mentally exhausting games. How do the Ps1 or 3ds version of DQ7 compare to them?
>>720679736I don't even know how you would steamline it. It's as long as it is simply because it really does just have that much content in the main storyThere's no part of it that goes on for longer than it needs to.
>>720680137DQ is just worse FF, so you'd probably hate it
>>720679925me for example, i played the 3ds one and didn't feel like progressing at all, are you telling me the original was even worse?
>>720681363>the original was even worse?yup keifer left your party at 30 hours into the game you cant even unlock the classes by that time if remmenber i dropped the game when sir mervyn shows for the first time
>no monster classesGAY>can double up on human classes and they have limit breaksC-cool?
people gawk at the length of the game without understanding exactly why it is that length. the reason is every island you visit in the game is its own sizeable self-contained storyline with a present-day wrap-up afterward. all 18 of them. there's no filler unless you count the fragment hunting which is one uncontestable improvement of the 3ds version just by telling you their general locations
