Why does the void not just chomp em both up? Pale beings are that powerful? I dont know much about silk herself at all.I also dont get why letting void swallow silk whole 'cuts pharloom free' its talking about how silk and voids battle is destroying the place, but surely letting the void win like this would give it a lot more power accelerating pharlooms destruction even more? The ending seems to indicate the knight controlling it to an extent.
