Has any information about it come out since that first reveal at the direct? When Nightreign was revealed they were pretty straight up about it being a weird battle royale type thing, why do we think that will be the case for Duskbloods?

I only want it because Bloodborne is my favorite game ever. I don't even like Fromsoft that much, just love Bloodborne. I'll probably play this for a hundred or so hours and get my fill. Really love the style and vibe so far, that's what really drives my curiosity.

Twinking defeated the appeal of invasions. DS1 had a huge problem with this, especially in areas where players are already having a difficult time progressing like the Anor Londo archers. It's essentially a mechanic to grief other people's runs

It's wi-fi slop.>>720687167It doesn't have a "base game" to derive from, so it will be a hot mess if there's no dedicated single-player campaign the players can get familiar with enemies and weapon movesets in before jumping into multiplayer. I still trust from to put out a good game, my expectations with NR were met and even surpassed a little, I believe Duskbloods can be enjoyable since it's obviously trying to evoke Bloodborne, which means it will be too different from ER to just asset flip NR into a switch game. Say what you will about from, but they balanced gameplay well enough in NR, I don't think they'd be dumb enough to think the same game can work with a bunch of different ducchess builds running around instead of an actual NR party.
