I can only vouch for Mother 2, but it's fantastic.Fun gameplay, nice story, but the shining jewel is the setting that hits that perfect balance between grounded and fantastical.

>>720696493Earthbound ends up being the most overrated because while it has iconic moments in the first few hours, it's mostly boring/bad moments. Mother 1 & 3 are more enjoyable overall, although I never finished 1 it can't possibly be as bad as the boredom/forceful of 2.
