I've been on a massive kick if going back and playing games I never beat or played growing up, and it has reignited my love of the hobby after 5+ years of treating games like a chore. I would usually get into a game if I put an hour or two in it, but it took forever to dredge up the will. I have beaten an average of one game a week since the middle of April, I just turned 34 and I spend 2-3 hours a day feeling like I'm 10 again. I didn't outgrow the medium, my standards are stuck in 2003 and that makes me an outlier.
