i do not recognize the supposed significance of a game 'leaving' early access. the game has been largely playable for years. if you wanted your release to be an event, don't have your game largely playable for years. Ever since minecraft wasted their 1.0 release with an update not that much different from any other random beta update, the concept of 'releasing for real' is more a marketing stunt than anything else.Some games like Noita are an exception where their early access period is just a few months with a set goal for what the game needs before it can be called ver 1.0
Initial early access was great and I've been skipping patches to wait for the full release.

How is the game compared to the first one?I played it when it came out but didn't think it was anything special, thought the enemy design and bosses were quite annoying in general and once I figured out what the good power ups and build were it all got reduced to a simple flowchart for every run kinda.
