Later it's not a problem, but in early game you are very tight on rosaries unless you die a lot. The game actually rewards dying and redoing area over and over again. Sometimes I finished an area, bought something from a vendor and went into another area only to find it doesn't even have more than 3-5 pilgrims and I don't have rosaries for the next bench. It's shit game design and it's at it's worst in early game
