Literally nothing happens if you don't have a proper real life schedule. I think I tried to get into this series too late because being an adult with an adult life, you can't do shit in the game. >>720712389Just about every other AC (except the amiibo one) is worth playing but none quite match the beautiful charm and simplicity of the original. New Horizons (the Switch one) allows for unparalleled town/home customization, and you can hunt down your favorite villagers to keep them on your island forever, but it's so painstakingly grindy and neutered that I'd recommend you outright ignore it.

Old AC (the original and Wild World) have better character interactions, they are witty and funny, often very sarcastic and even mean which makes you love (or hate) the characters even more. Horizons lacks in that department but makes up for it with much more other gameplay such as designing your island completely freely. Personally I think I prefered the old ones, they have the kind of charm that's really hard to come by today.
