Sure I can occasionally deal with Soldier and Demo when my reaction times aren't complete garbage, but then I die to Scout, Heavy, Sentries, basically anything with hitscan that outranges me.
Valve were on the money when they said it's not fun to be slowed or lose control in games, but they missed when they didn't notice it's not fun to be one shot either and made a shooter that's fifty percent skillful duels and class interaction, and fifty percent going full hp to zero in a single hit.

You can play perfectly, hit every airblast, time every uber, and then randomly get deleted by a crit pipe or a rogue sniper high on G-Fuel. It's like trying to play chess in a minefield. There’s a reason half the playerbase either plays pubstomper classes or goes on trade_plaza to unironically argue over hat prices.
