it doesn't have the charm of the original. it feels overdone. they were focusing on making a perfect game and because of that it doesn't have a unique flavour.

The original is trash. Floaty garbage with squares for levels, the level design one of the worst I've seen in a video game. Silksong is close to perfect and should never be compared to the amateur hour of the original.
