i played this after the sequel and realized it's much better. much smaller car list but they're more distinct and handle better, and the engine sounds are actually good. i think the mission structure was less gay but i don't remember it all that much

I played it for a couple of hours now and it's fun enough to keep me going. I haven't played it back in the day, so no nostalgia. The driviing gives me strong GTA 5 vibes, meaning while the handling is very arcade-y, the cars are different enough to keep you engaged. Just driving around the map being more fun than the main content of the game is also something that reminds me of GTA 5. Apparently there's also a story, but it's so fucking boring and generic that I zone out whenever a cut scene is happening
