The next big MMO is something that released recently, flopped, and will become the best thing on the market after a few more years of improvements and content. Newly released MMOs don't have the content or the polish to compete with the current big MMOs that have had years of refinement.

Ironically MMOs cannot become mainstream anymore. They are like RTS games, niche, people don't want a swiss knife game they autistically play forever, they want simple games they can drop and then move to the next one.

Exactly, any popular game whattever the genre it is, with multiplayer elements, will be considered an MMO. So the next big MMO, is just the next big whatever game it is.

Not going to happen. The major MMOs today are all over 10 years old. MMOs start small and gain popularity over time.
