Too early to tell. Marketing for a game usually starts six months prior to release to build up hype and momentum for the title.
So far nothing has happened yet but the game also still has an official release date for May - so if Rockstar do what they did in the past they should start marketing for the game some time after christmas. If we do not see any form of marketing for the game in January at all you can safely assume that they will push it back further.
But until then nobody knows for sure.

The game will make them tons of money but with such a massive project they can't really afford to take risks.
Even if the game makes a billion easily you gonna think about the long term effects. If the game is ass it will still sell better than every other game but the damage that game would do by being awful would ensure a later GTA 7 would sell way less.
So yeah - they will be extra careful. Half the dev team being poos and most OG Rockstar devs being long also doesn't give people the highest hopes
