I have nearly 20 tb of games in external storage drives. Most of them ROMs, but I do have one 5 TB drive full of PC games, as well as 1.5 TB of DOS games. I figure when the world ends, I'll have a lifetime of entertainment with them. I have most games, for many consoles even obscure ones before the PSX, as well as arcade ROMs. After the PSX generation, and up to it, I have large collections of games that are to my tastes. Like it would be impossible for me to have every PS2 game without at least another 100 TB, possibly more. But even with having fewer games made during and after the PSX generation I figure that I have plenty. In all, I have tens of thousands of games.If the internet and electric grid goes down, I'm prepared. Most people just aren't ready, or many people will store games in internal drives that they'll leave behind when the apocalypse happens even if they have large collections. Everyone should have an apocalypse vidya stash. It gives you peace of mind, but the less people that have one-- the better off I will be because my collection will be even more valuableSome people will say there won't be a way to play them without an electric grid. Wrong. You can do a lot even with a minimal solar setup even if it means you have to charge your device you're playing them on for 24 hours just to get 4 hours of play isn't bad. It's not like you'll get to play games 24/7 in the apocalypse anyway. It would just be something nice during down time.
>>720731249I never really though about it like that @_@ i do have some vidya and anime that can last me... for about a couple of months? but i did plan to start downloading lots of stuff if i my village stopped getting internet @_@ i can travel to the city and pay some place to allow me to use the internet for some time...
