Eggman can't be that bad of a guy. Civilization under his rule seems to be based and thriving. Why would support a bunch of mutated rodents are their unholy crusade to destroy this man's high tech utopia?

>>720738785The technology level in the series is extremely inconsistent, Eggman aside, you have cities like Station Square and the whole SA2 world, where they managed to build a space colony 50 years in the past, but otherwise they use real-world cars and wheeled transport, but then in Heroes you get these big ass metropolis with a bunch of flying vehicles which are then gone by Sonic 06 and Unleashed, and then Eggman builds a space elevator and amusement park within months.
