I drove EVERYWHERE in the fucking mail truck everyday instead of fast travelingIIRC it took me like 4-5 hours to 100% it, but I could have probably cut that in half if I knew about the fast travel. What’s worse is that I was definitely using a guide and still somehow missed it, if they mentioned it at all

When I become aware that I've started doing it again I try to stop. Silksong is the latest game where this has happened.
Probably going halfway through DS1 without realizing that I have to upgrade my sword in a separate menu that blacksmith has to continue upgrading it further.

So that one tall pipe I forgot which world but close to the end I couldn't jump high enough so I kept trying to wall jump it until I got it.
When I played ghostrunner 2 I always jump on the jump pads instead of walking into them instinctively and die over and over again unless I think about it
