Why do the levels in Bananza look so ugly? The saturated neon colour palette + abstract landscapes are hideous to me. There is no sense of place, no atmosphere, no undergoing narrative in any level.

The bosses were easily my least favorite things about the game. Aside from the void fights and K.Rool, all the fights were over in seconds and piss easy, not to say the prior mentioned fights are hard.

They could easily double or triple the hp of most bosses. The Grumpy Kong fights feel like they are missing a phase 2 or 3.

Yeah, the severe lack of health really fucked them over. I like the idea of using your new transformations on them, but half the time you can just go ape shit with Bananza Kong and they'll be dead in a minute. It's a shame because I really loved a lot of the designs. They remind me of Splatoon bosses.

Its pretty mid. The emerald rush gamemode is decently fun, but how in the fuck could they not have been bothered to add bananadium gems to collect in the regular DK island? Theres no point to the map other than for hosting emerald rush and taking pics with cranky, diddy, dixie
