Who was in the wrong here?
>>720772173>Ramza upholds his morals, survives the war, successfully escapes to another land, and is ultimately vindicated by history>Delita lies, cheats, and murders his way onto the throne, has to kill his queen in self-defense because even she can't trust him, and is left pitying himself and wondering if Ramza got what he wanted out of life
>>720772173This nigga
>>720772173Delita./thread
>who's was the in the wrong? The guy that killed, cheated, manipulated and did everything to worm his way into power or the actual hero of the story?Gee idk...
>>720772173Delita, Ramza was right and saved the world too.
so it's pretty clear then?only played FFTA...same conflict on who was right, but very difficult to truly knowhope to play the original tacics thoughif they don't fuck up the remaster
>>720777635Don't hate the playa hate the gameHe was a goodie two shoes like Ramza until that thing with his sister
>>720772173Delita for being a backstabbing deceitful faggot.
>>720776982>>720777635It is far more complex.>>720772173>Delita is machiavellian, Ramza is not>Ramza does not believe in bringing God's heaven to Earth (as he tells Orlandeau)>Ramza does not believe that the world can be just, he just wants to do the right thing despite all consequences>Delita does awful action after awful action, spiralling down in murder and deception for the greater goal of achieving a better worldIn the end, Delita is alone, but he achieves the power that he needs to realize his vision. Ramza is forever profaned, but like a saint, he is seen disappearing into the sunset.Ramza is a Jesus Christ-like figure and his sacrifice was the one of a christian saint Theresa, of doing what is right even when there are no chances of victory. Delita, on the other hand, is a machiavellian prince. So ironic that a commoner would ultimately master the game of thrones and outmaneuver all the royal elites of Ivalice and obtain victory in the War of the Lions.t. if you believe the ends justify the means, Delita is right. If you believe you must always do what is right, Ramza is right. The game is very realistic in how these visions bring to the characters.
>>720779285Yeah there's nuance to it, but only psychos side with delita over ramza. Ramza did the right thing
>>720779285This is only really true when seen in isolation. In truth, were it not for Ramza's actions disrupting the church and the nobility Delita would likely never had succeeded. And at the end of the road what he gets for it is yet more blood on his hands, hollow vengeance for his sister and bitterness.
They were both right, Delita sadly suffered so much more due to his choices but brought prosperity to the nation
pls post best music from fft...also play ffta if you haven't>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_C93GeSwWA&list=RDn_C93GeSwWA&start_radio=1
>>720772173Matsuno's good boy MCs in a world full of scumbags and backstabbers are just so unbelievably pure it hurtsAt least Denims can go a bit unhinged depending on your choice, but I assume the canon version of him is the one where he stays a good boy while everyone around him takes advantage of him (including his stupid sister)
>>720780972they should do this in the remaster...in ffta you linked up gameboys and you would get the best loot/geargetting good gear was like pulling a charizard from a booster pack, same so.y face feelings

>dude delita is bad because... HE BETRAYED THE EVIL CHURCH THAT GOT SUBVERTED BY DEMONSYou're all retarded. Delita doesn't actually do anything "evil" and routinely spares people sent to kill him or could ruin his plans by spilling the beans.
