>First good Silent Hill game>Written by R07Apologize, you don't have to pretend to like games you've never played before like the original trilogy, it has actual gameplay and writing now.
do you guys think the feminist story will be legitimately interesting? or just insufferable nonsense.now that i think about it some more it could just be generic and boring oh no my parents want me to get married and i don't want too, sounds kinda overdone
This is a false flag effort to make people hate it, huh Why
>>720773113Ryukishi's history as a social worker is what led to some of the most interesting stuff in Higurashi so I have faith.
"fuck you" bitch
>>720773320could you give an example? it been years since i watched higurashi
>>720772860Said it last year when Polaks started shilling their trash de-make with the exact same nonsense narrative, will say it again:(You) were not even alive in the 1990s,Every single SH fan hated this sort of Souls-lite gameplay when SH HC dropped, and #FuckKonami, since 2005 and 2015.Go pirate and play the original Team-Silent's games, while they are still available online and interwebs ain't completely under surveillance.>>720773206There's no need to "make" people hate it.We already did.

>>720772860>R07Literally who?
>>720772860the game isn't even out yet?
Try to say something nice about Silent Hill f without tearing the original games down. Oh wait, you'd rather kill yourself than do that. Here, this should help.
>>720774185>ignorant normalfaggot
>>720772860>First good Silent Hill game since SH4ftfy>>720773113I think it will just be a plot device to explain the existence of the witches.>>720773558In terms of artstyle, this is closer to the Team Silent vision than any of the western-slop games. I'm willing to give SHf a try.
>>720774521Sorry I'm not into your cuckold fetish doujinshis, faggot.
>>720772860Has it even fucking released yet>>720773113>do you guys think the feminist story will be legitimately interesting? or just insufferable nonsense.Feminist stories, or stories with feminist themes, can be legitimately interesting. Half of David Lynch's work after Twin Peaks has some kind of feminist theme running through it, even if it isn't the primary point. I have no reference for how good of a writer Ryukishi actually is, though, since I've never read any of his VNs, so he might totally bungle it. It takes a very good writer to do overt social commentary without it being total shit.
>>720773463not him, but I appreciated his work in Umineko. Ryukishi wrote a mother and child whose relationship was loving while also being neglectful and abusive. the mother was a deeply-flawed person who was haunted by her own childhood trauma (which was pretty bad), feelings of inadequacy, and the fact that the father of her child ran out on her after taking advantage of her financially (in a moment of weakness, she admits that she hopes that if her business can take off, he will come back to her. one part of her knows it's foolish, but the vain hope never truly dies).and the daughter, though it's never said explicitly (because it's 80s japan), is clearly autistic. she's a bright girl who has a habit of repeating phrases, is fixated on her favorite thing (witches and magic), and legitimately still has invisible friends and gets mad if they're disrespected... at the age of 9, all of which means that she doesn't have any friends and is embarrassing to have in public.the girl is repeatedly and sequentially neglected and abused and loved by her mother, who is stressed out about her own messed-up life and the guilt she has for breaking her promises and putting her own interests and pleasure before her daughter's (like going out with boyfriends in hopes that one will stay). the daughter, of course, loves her mother, and she rationalizes every aspect of her life to convince herself that everything is okay, that she's not alone and neglected and that this is simply the way things ought to be.overall it's a terrible combination of love and guilt and resentment and helplessness that culminates in a heartwrenching scene where they are visited by a concerned social worker, and the mom can't keep it all in, her sorrow and rage terrifying her daughter and scaring even the poor worker who had just been checking in on the behalf of concerned neighbors who had seen the daughter walking around at night much too often.I suspect Ryukishi wrote from experience
>>720775331>HUERRRGHHH COWADOODY
>>720775896YOU KNOW BOSCO?!?
>>720773113It's set in 1960s Japan so if you think the game is going to have some modern feminist bullshit you are honestly retarded.

>>720772860>First good Silent Hill gameIf you meant after the first one, then sure
>>720773320I remember the child abuse shit in chapter 3 of Higurashi vns was pretty depressing and clearly came from his experience as a social worker.
