What album
>>720777660music soothes even the sa/v/age NEET
i listen to videogame music instead of playing because im lazy
I got into active listening recently and it is more fun than playing video games at times. Unfortunately, there is no way to explain to other people what I am doing without coming across as severely autistic.
>>720778247Please explain anyway
For me, it's Breaking Benjaminhttps://youtu.be/k2vZP4nSXr4
>>720778471More like buttraping Benjamin
I no longer enjoy music as much as i used to. I think i need some help from chatGPT to explore new genres
>>720777660>listening to live sets and concerts for bands that you could never afford to see irlFeelsbadman
>>720778547More like buck breaking buttholemen
>>720778547More like bumbadoo Ben and Jerry's
>>720778471Good taste anon. Favorite Album? For me it's Phobia.
>>720778617>not because the band was already disbanded or dead by the time you found them
>>720778721Dear Agony, absolutely.
I love music so much, bros. Can't sing. Don't know a goddamn thing about music theory. But I love listening to it. It makes me happy, it makes me sad, it's someone's story or voice or message carried across years and record grooves and it's a little piece of them that I got to experience with somewhere between millions of other people and the 11 other people who heard some forgotten Bandcamp upload. I truly believe music, and actually enjoying it, not just having it on as background noise or top-10 workplace hits, is the great divide between human and animal.
>>720779056Music is comparable to a universal translator that can jump across entire cultures. Kinda like Mr Bean and his antics. You don't need to understand every word if you like the way it sounds.
music > books > movies > games > shows
>>720778247i also want to know
>>720779573music > manga > books > movies > games > shows
>>720779056>tfw sitting at my desk, eyes closed, listening to music and making up kino in my mind's eye that flows with the sound
>>720779573shows>games>books>music>movies!
>>720777660>Listen to music for hours while playing videogames

>>720779745This anon knows what's good.
>>720779786Shocker, the shit sniffer has shit taste.
>>720779573for me, it’sgames>movies>shows>music>booksI enjoy all of them though, don’t confuse my preference for one medium as disdain for the other
>>720779786We know you have a taste for shit, but now you have a shit taste too?
>>720780009this sounds like some DUDE WEED shit, but every stoner should have a good pair of headphones anyway. so maybe it's more of the 'fugue state' or 'trance' or whatever that you get into when doing something->Sometimes I take off my headphones and the active listening persists, and I swear I can see the waveform my own voice produces.i think you might actually just be schizo anon, i love hearing new shit in songs i've heard a thousand times before and gaining a whole new appreciation for them, but that's a little far
>>720779786Shit sniffing faggot krump yourself
>>720779745Are you making games, AMVs, a pure music video, or like a synthesizer in your head?>>720780009That's really cool sounding, got any guides or are you making it up as you go with just pure focus?
>>720778471>>720778721>>720778786I had a jeet coworker that watched anime music videos all day at his desk and a good number of them were for Breaking Benjamin so I'm picturing you as jeets
>>720780009>average Tonal Architecture enjoyer
>>720779858What? Movies are like operas, everyone thinks they're such high brow art, but only 10% of fans ever really watch them.
movies > music > games > books > manga > shows
>>720780304Not him, but it's sort of like music videos with a recurring cast of characters and world. Old school Flash music video animations, low-framerate proofs, etc. Basically cutscenes. As a wannabe writer, music seems to be a great way for your mind to barf up new elements you hadn't thought of or to figure out how to tie existing plot bits together in a way you hadn't realized.
>>720780304I like to imagine cool scenes in settings either of my own making or a blend of other works and imagining how they might play out as game cutscenes or short films. So pretty similar to the other anon
Albums I’ve been listening to recently:Picaresque - The DecemberistsCastaways and Cutouts - The DecemberistsZeitgeist - Smashing PumpkinsSilksong OSTPaper Mario TTYD OST

>>720780564>>720781104realizing that this is what kids do all the time and you can still do it as an adult is a fucking amazing thing, honestly

>>720782079I'm working on it, chief. It'll be a while, but I'm trying.
