You're told the entire game that what's inside the sarcophagus could cause the apocalypse,if you try to connect the dots and think it's an ancient vampire LaCroix wants to diablerize then you're basically gifting him superpowers

But instead you just walk away because HAHA SURPRISE THERE WAS A BOMB, something the protagonist didn't know happened.
People who make the choice did it because they already knew what would happen.

But since opening it yourself has you dying then it's a "Bad ending" nobody wanted to get. It's stupid.

Rosa tells you the "Lone Wolf" (Beckett) is trustworthy.
Beckett tells you not to open it.
I don't open it.
Shrimple as that.

>Beckett tells you not to open it.

But you leave the key in the floor next to LaCroix so he would open it himself.
And Becket didn't know Jack put bombs inside.

I got the "worst" ending the first time I played it, so you're right, even though I trusted Beckett I just couldn't contain myself (I was a Gangrel)

Opening it is too risky. Leaving the key with Lecroix is also too risky. The correct thing to do is to sink the sarcophagus (preferably not with me chained to it)

>you're sent constant emails being told not to open it
>you're told by Rosa not to open it
>you're told by Beckett not to open it
>"hurr durr there's no reason not to open it in 90% of playthroughs"
Anon...

You don't have to know there's a bomb. You just have to suspect that opening it is going to cause a Raiders of the Lost Ark type of consequence for whoever is dumb enough to pry it open.

Jack also says "try not to wake Grandpa Munster and kill us all"
>>
Malk reporting in, I opened it because I wanted to see what happens.
Also, I would do it again.

Which is why i'm telling you, if not opening was so important, why leave the key next to LaCroix so he can use it himself? The protag doesn't know there's a bomb

In fact, from those lines telling you not to open, a new apocalypse could start.
So just walking away like in the Solo or Anarch ending leaving the key with LaCroix is stupid, if you didn't believe it was a threat then why not open it yourself, if you believed it was a threat... why leave it to the villain?

>why leave the key next to LaCroix
Because you know whatever is inside is bad so you're just trolling the retard

>Because you know whatever is inside is bad

But anon, it's not bad in the sense "whoever opens it dies", legend says an ENTIRE APOCALYPSE CAN BE UNLEASHED. You're risking you and everyone else dying if it was some sort of pandora's box or something dangerous for everyone.
