I'm in Act 3 of Clair Obscur Expedition 33.Basically, I got the cutscenes from Act 2 and went straight into the city. And now I'm at the flag in front of some sort of arena to fight you-know-who.Is this really the end, or will it continue? Because I noticed there are several areas on the continent that I haven't explored because my level was too low.
>>720783549You can continue after the end, I would actually recommend continuing to beat the game before doing side content else you will be hilariously over leveled for Renoir
>>720783636So it's the really the end of the story after this fight?
>>720783801Yes. You could at least do Maelle's relationship sidequest before finishing the game but it's up to you.
>>720783549Act 3 expects you to go straight to the final boss and do the optional shit afterwards unless you wanna one shot the final boss. Yes act 3 is a fucking mess. Especially since a lot of the optional stuff feels like cut main game shit.
kind of a dangerous thread since I just got to act 2 but what the fuck is this pixely bullshit that shows up during some scenes and how do I get rid of it? I have everything up to high, I checked some videos of similar scenes on youtube and they don't have as pronounced an effect such as this
>>720784390never saw that in my playthrough. Maybe turn some post processing effects down?
>>720784390never saw that either but like the other anon said maybe turn post process to low, I played with all high but turned that to low because the dof sucked ass
>>720784550>>720784749I'll try that and see what happens then, I've only turned off motion blur previously while everything else was on
>>720783636This guy is right, BUT since they released some patch you can now set up multipliers to HP and DMG for your enemies. It's in the settings. I would recommand doing all the other areas/sidequests normaly, then activating those multipliers when you are facing that final boss. This feature has been released few months after the game has been released and many people might not be aware that QoL setting. Personally i think it's great but the developpers should have also set up a real difficulty themselves for people who did all the other contents before, it's a bit annoying to have the player to deduce what multiplier he should apply himself.
>>720783549That's the last boss, yes. It's the end of the story. After you beat it, you can load your game and continue playing, but anything you do is meant to have happened before you fight Renoir. It's been pointed out ITT that you can probably beat Renoir now, and you'd get enough levels, pictos, and weapon upgrades from doing the optional (but canonical) story content to crush him pretty easily. IMO, it's actually kind of satisfying to do it that way. There are harder fights than Renoir elsewhere, if you're looking for a challenge.
>>720786348>>720788130My plan was to complete everything before the real ending anyway.I wanted to be sure because I saw some very dangerous areas, and there are plenty of them, actually. It's a shame Sandfall doesn't have better scripted optional areas.Imagine the guy who goes straight to the end without doing the optional areas. He's probably going to miss a lot of things. Plus, I came back to camp and saw that I have to do things for my team.
>>720783549If you've liked the game so far, every area is worth a visit.
>>720783549Would probably be best to do character stories first( they should be marked on the map)
