The meta exist for reason, retard
>>
meta fagging is ok only if the meta is fun
>>
>>720784963
Because you suck?
>>
devs should flip the meta every 3 months

You still can't force them to do anything. And you're busy spamming comics crying about it, meanwhile other people just play the game.

Meta for thee, no meta for me.

this is why 1v1 competitive games will always be superior, you can go against the meta without holding others back.

Meta is the result of experimentation
>>
I just play games to enjoy them, I don't care about "meta"
for this reason I am a terrible overwatch player and got permabanned from it for "not" playing my class in friendly casual games.
>>
I usually enjoy being that faggot that conjures up anti-meta strategies.
>>
>>720784963
>play game completely blind
>choose what is best for me and my playstyle
>somehow always get really close to the meta
I always feel like a smart cookie when I discover that, like I cracked the code all on my own
>>
If you aren't good enough to make your unique playstyle become the new meta, you didn't beat the game.

Pretty much, everyone else here is wrong and gay and a faget
>b-but winning
who cares if everyone is playing in the most unfun way
>>
>>720784963
>guy on the floor is having fun
>the two metafags are seething
really makes you think
>>
>>720786117
>find out you independently derived the cheap-ass option that undermines at least one of the core intended gameplay principles
Feels good to be bad.

This, you experiment with different builds then when you find one that works if enough people copy the build it becomes the new meta. What do people think the meta is derived from?
I miss games where you could keep your build a secret so that no-one could copy it. Gw2 was like that, I don't know if it is like that anymore but there was no way for somebody else to inspect your build so you could keep it a secret if you made something strong. Unless you bragged about it or uploaded it to metabattle, in which case the devs might nerf it.

Good games don't have overly cheesy gimmicks that lets you win effortlessly, and I only play good games
