What are you doing in your current world bros?Started working on setting up my kingdom finally. Started off with a challenge; a diagonal sea gate. Not sure what I'm going to do for the actual gate itself once I've gotten the wall + towers built up, pretty sure diagonal fences look jank as fuck. Anyone got any ideas?

I'm currently working on my world where the plan is to make different settlements based on geography. Right now I have three settlements, one of those is already a town located by a patch of flat land right by where two rivers meet at a bay making it pretty ideal for boat traveling. The second settlement is by the sea on a rocky coastline where at first I thought it would be a mining town but I found that the other settlements had better access to caves so the idea know is to turn it into a port town that'll probably just produce glass and stone. The third settlement is literally just two buildings but I'm planning to make it into a small fishing village.

>>720785993Krautchan used to have a really big server with tons of towns and cities and buildings and such, it was pretty great exploring them.Every once in a while I'll come back and start building up structures on Minecraft, but I like building underground more. Cave and cavern systems are great to smooth down and make roadways, lighted paths, greenery along the sides, that sort of thing. It's just really hard to take a screenshot of it all to get a sense of scale.

I'm still confused why andesite is in the game when Minecraft's generic stone probably IS andesite or some sort of basaltic andesiteLike I obviously get granite and diorite (even if they're integrated into the game really poorly) but why the fuck would you put a stone block in that is near identical to generic stone that you can do less with functionally (and even decoratively)?I know this is like an 11 year old complaint but jesus christ man Mojang are so goddamn stupid

man I just can't get myself to play this game anymore, it's like the emotional baggage is too heavy at this point. I played since b1.1 and was really invested in the game at the time, seeing how it went form bad to worse with every update just made me feel so dissatisfied with the development of the game. I remember how mad me and my peers were when notch decided to replace boosters with rails, or how they just stole the modder's ideas over and over, it's like every feature introduced into this game was a good idea (usually not mojang's though) with terrible execution. Whenever I feel a bit nostalgic and start a new world now, I just play for 5 mins and then see some feature and think something along the lines of "oh yeah, I remember how good of an idea that was before they actually introduced it" or "I remember how fun this feature was before they changed it", and just quit the game. kinda sad.thanks for reading my blogpost.
