0/10 game
>>
It was not okay when Sword/Shield did it, it will not be okay when Silksong does it.
>>
I don't understand.
>>
>>720790017
this but unironically. mistakes like this should not appear in a game that took this long to make.
>>
>>720790146
I will be requesting a refund from this shoddy development cycle
>>
Why is she bondaged?
>>
I will somehow use this to justify pirating the game.
>>
a reverse psychology shill thread huh

You shouldn't kill yourself

this, was this supposed to be in a trailer or a cutscene?
>>
Really? That looks like a particle effect to me.
>>
am i supposed to blame the blacks, jews, nazis, or liberal left for this?

Hollow Knight: Silksong took 7+ long years to release, and now that it’s finally in the hands of fans, we’re seeing that the game was worth the wait. There’s near universal praise pouring in from all corners of the internet, showing that Team Cherry was absolutely meticulous in crafting their sequel. Well, except for one tiny hiccup…

Eagle-eyed Redditor ScooperWooper7044 noticed that one of the cut-scenes in Silksong left behind something that certainly wasn’t meant to be there. As you can (barely) see in the image above, a mouse cursor was accidentally left behind in the video. This is one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments, but once you see it you can’t unsee it.

It's cropped in the OP, you can see it better here
>>
>>720795765
Oh wow that really is a mouse cursor
>>
>>720790267
It takes place in the third act of the game. Hornet needs to use a diving bell to reach a certain place and she straps in for the descent, which is a cutscene.
>>
And?
>>
>>720790017
>>720795765
Holy SOVL
>>
>>720795765
How does this even happen? They used OBS to record their desktop for cutscenes?
>>
>>720796230
they planted it to endear their game to reddit
>>
>>720795765
In an age of AI generation, it's important to leave in mistakes to prove a human did it. Brava, Team Cherry
>>
>>720795765
How will they get away with this this time?
>>
>>720796516
They will just... edit it out?
>>
>>720790274
Unfortunately there is no other way yo interpret this fact. Piracy is the only known way.
>>
>>720790017
I don't wanna be that guy, but when pokemon did it there were threads reaching 500 replies here
The double standards make me think
>>
>>720793241
Trannies, it's always they/them
>>
>>720797745
Probably because Pokemon isn't a PC game.
>>
>>720797745
3 man studio vs japans biggest franchise and one of the largest gaming conglomerates. "Double standards" kek
>>
>>720798445
It's made in a PC like all games?
>>720798673
BUT DEV TIME, OH MY GOD POKEMON WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF THEY TOOK SO MUCH LONG TO MAKE THE GAME, JUST LIKE SILKSONG RIGHT? OH BOY I CAN TOTALLY FEEL THOSE SEVEN YEARS, TOTALLY MAN TOTALLY
>>
>>720790017
Reminds me of that one shot from the Primal TV series where someone somehow replaced all the fish with mouse cursors.
>>
>>720790773
It's a cutscene, the cursor shows up for a couple of frames.
>>
>>720795765
yeah the guy who posted it to reddit cropped it like that.
>>
>>720798962
I could forgive the cursor if the games weren't trivial boring dogshit, unlike kinosong. jeet
>>
>>720799159
>Redditor fucks up simple thing
Many such cases
>>
>>720797745
Pokemon is a AAA game from a game studio with 25 years of experience (lmao), belonging to the largest media franchise on the planet. Silksong is an indie game from a team of 3 dudes. You'd expect the latter to have a few bugs.
>>
>>720797745
People gave pokémon a lot of shit for it because it could be pointed at as a consequence of such a rushed development
>>
>>720799307
>You'd expect the latter to have a few bugs.
Yeah but it's got hundreds of them.

It's their second game, it looks exactly like the first one, it took them seven fucking years. What is this fucking excuse? Pokemon changes things around every fucking game every fucking 3 years and half the staff working there isn't even from Game Freak but hired from somewhere else
>>
>>720795765
Genuine question how come the cursor looks like it's part of the environment? Layer fuckery?
>>
Team Cherry... people died waiting for this game... they died... and this is the best you can do???
>>

Mistakes happen

People get more nitpicky the shittier something is in other ways, this has always been the case
>>

Fixed that for you

now post a timestamped link to a playthrough on youtube so we know it's not just some random photoshop that someone did
>>
>>720790089
who?
>>
>>720799705
color graded and added bloom in post. at least that would be an answer if hornet's head/mask was also yellow.
>>
>>720796230
Good question. Maybe whatever animation software they used paywalled the export feature and they didn't want to buy it, or maybe they're using the game engine to create the cutscenes and decided the easiest way to obtain the footage was to just screen record it.
>>
>>720796230
for development of the first game the artist took pictures of his drawings using his phone instead of just scanning it. please understand we are small indie studio
>>
>>720795765
Did they fucking screen record to export their animation?

thank you, remember that you can remove Alphabet's tracking parameter ("si") so they don't tie your activity on 4chan to your google account, like so: https://youtu.be/6o5sfS14gyw?t=87159

I didn't think this could be real, how strange. Wonder if they used some effect filter tool in a web browser and screen captured how it looked.
>>
>>720801959
also, i never saw a video over 24 hrs before, how strange that youtube doesn't keep displaying the hour count above 24 and instead adds another 1: to indicate that it's over "one day" into the video
>>
>>720802256
Ah so that's how you format that, thanks. Last couple times I tried it broke the timestamp
>>
>>720798673
nownow, no sucking off the corporations, now, they have enough money, they don't need you to defend them on here for free..
>>
Does it say something about the average human when not a single person caught this mistake in the 2 weeks time the game has been out for? Millions of people played the game and not a single one called it out until now.
>>
>>720803006
Because
>It's a cutscene on the tail end of the game
>It's a cutscene at the tail end of the true end of the game
>People here still bitch about Savage Beastfly (an earlygame boss)
>>
>>720803006
look in the video >>720801959
it appears very briefly and is over 24 hrs into the video (i assume far from all players get to it)
