>game has a blackjack or gambling minigame>the odds are always against you
Glad the sequel fixed that.
>>720793352PURE PAZAAK
>>720793352that's good blackjack, err Pazaak. It would be too easy if it was neutral, you get to build a deck with the best cards OP
How are the odds against you in Blackjack? You and the dealer are playing the same game, but the dealer's choices are restricted while you're given extra choices they don't have. Not talking about Pazaak, btw. That's a different can of rules.
>>720795436If you bust the dealer wins even if they would have bust if they were forced to play. You being dealt a 13 is much worse than the dealer being dealt a 13.
>>720795834So play at a large table instead of trying to 1v1. Odds are somebody else is going to have a 17+ hand and force the dealer to draw.
>>720795436with basic strategy, not counting, and assuming classic blackjack payouts (rare nowadays), your odds against the house are -0.5% assuming you never make a mistake
>>720793352Forfeit the game / Before somebody elseTakes you out of the frame / Puts your name to shameCover up your face / You can't run the raceThe pace is too fast / You just won't last
>>720793352>spend time earning money through the normal gameplay loop the game is built aroundor>waste the same time playing a shitty gambling minigame with even odds of winning or losing which makes it all net neutralThe only reason to gamble is if there are special prizes locked behind it or if you can cheat.
No? The odds are against the computer. It doesn't get unlimited retries like you do.
>>720796719I started playing poker when I unlocked the casino in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. By the time I stopped I had all the money I needed for upgrades, but I completely forgot what I was doing in the story....so I went to the arcade and started playing Virtua Fighter instead.
